FOUNDER & CEO
WILLIAM EVANS
The William Evans Sports Center was founded in 2023 with the aim of providing affordable and high-quality sports training for the young in the founder's hometown. William's passion for coaching recreational youth basketball for the Waller Youth Basketball League, which he established in 2016, inspired him to create a multi-sport training facility that caters to young athletes of all ages and abilities. After conducting extensive market research and developing a business plan, William leased a facility that he transformed into the William Evans Sports Center, which opens in 2024.
William envisioned creating a premier multi-sport training facility that would provide young athletes with the opportunity to learn sports fundamentals and the value of team sports in terms of fitness, friendship, and life lessons. The facility offers youth leagues, camps, clinics, and training programs in basketball, soccer, and volleyball. It includes basketball courts, a volleyball court, and indoor soccer training.
Under William's leadership, William Evans Sports Center will partner with local schools and organizations to expand programming and provide scholarships to disadvantaged youth.
William continues to train basketball and serves as a positive role model while striving to fulfill his mission of keeping kids active in a positive, fun, and safe environment.
William and his family live locally and will be participating in programs at the Waller Youth Basketball League.
